Dual Enrollment Course (3.0 credits).
This course is a pre-requisite for Calculus I. Further study in algebraic functions will be studied as well as new topics in transcendental functions, including logarithms, matrices, determinants, conic sections, and series. Topics covered in trig include: a functional approach to trigonometry, trigonometric equations, trigonometric identities, solving trigonometric equations, solving right and oblique triangles, complex numbers in trigonometric form, application of DeMoivre's theorem, two dimensional vectors, and parametric equations. This course is also called Pre-Calculus.
