ENG 1113 - Composition I: Dual Enrollment

This course introduces students to rhetorical concepts and audience-centered approaches to writing, with emphasis placed upon the writing process: defining and developing topics, organizing information and writing drafts, and revising and editing to practice the fundamentals of academic expository prose. Students will also begin to develop research skills and learn to incorporate research material through the writing process to produce papers that are properly formatted and cited according to MLA style. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing.
