If you have not already done so, please add admin@cedar.studyplace.us to your contacts. Any CEDAR related correspondence must be emailed to this address.  Please also visit our Courses and Enrollments Page, and make all of your current instructors part of your and your student's contacts.  They will be emailing you frequently.  Thank you!

Please familiarize yourself with CEDAR’s Handbook. It is your responsibility to understand the rules, regulations and financial policies at CEDAR. When you enrolled in CEDAR courses you had to check a box that you reviewed our handbook.  If you did not review it carefully, please do so now.  Our handbook can be found on our website under the “About Us” tab.  Thank you!

Once your student signs in, they can explore lots of stuff.  First they will see their message board.  Make sure to click on the pink square where it says the number of unread messages, so they read them all.

Click on "Classes" and explore overview, schedules, assignments, messages, grades, students and more.  Instructors will give more information in their class.  You will also see a Help Icon on the main StudyPlace page, that offers a chat line (sponsored by The Potters School who also uses StudyPlace, and is kind enough to allow us to use their helpline) should you get stuck figuring out how to use StudyPlace.

Tips for students:

-- Messages

(there is a button that says messages), any communication instructors want to give students can be put on that class’s message board. (Make sure to log on daily to StudyPlace to see any new messages).

-- Class Pages (where to find things, including the weekly agenda)

Basically, just use the “classes” icon, and then scroll down on the page of the class. You can select any meeting you have filled in so far.

-- Assignments (how to find and submit assignments, take tests, etc.

Go to the assignments icon. Click on the class, the specific meeting, and download the assignment, or test, etc. there. Under the “assignments” icon they will see a tab for “submit file”
