"The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, "The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
Psalm 92:12-15 (NIV)

CEDAR understands that this school year is very different than most. Some families that are not already at CEDAR are still looking for alternatives that are more cost efficient than what they have now. We know that these alternatives must offer academically rigorous courses designed to prepare students for top colleges, universities and careers. CEDAR is this place. We are therefore keeping certain classes open at CEDAR to meet our community's needs. Note: Dual Enrollment classes are officially closed- and can not accept late arrivals. If you are interested in other CEDAR classes, however, please use our contact page to see if we have any openings in your desired class. The instructor of your desired class will quickly determine if your student will be able to catch up with the class, based on their past academic achievements and pre-requisite test scores. It is our belief at CEDAR that the dire current circumstances of our world need not affect your student's academic potential and future.
Our academic year began on August 17. It began with an initial 4 weeks of virtual only courses. We desire to keep you safe; we then provided a hybrid option (a choice of either continuing online learning OR face to face classes). Any new students will make that decision as soon as possible. Once a decision has been made for attendance, students will need to continue in that means during the duration of the semester. There will be exceptions in that if a family feels it best to move to the virtual learning platform the student may do so during the semester, however, students may not change from virtual to live classes.
Please see the video below to understand the protocol of exactly what Face to Face classes look like:
In addition to the video above, please see our CEDAR Covid Protocol below for a more detailed description of how we plan to to keep face to face classes as safe as possible. (Please note this document will be updated as deemed necessary for safety assurance).
